I have a friend building a very impressive LSA powered kit car http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...e-project.html , he heard that the stock LS9 supercharger lid offers better clearance than the stock ZL1 or CTS-V lid, thus allowing an enclosed body to cover it as opposed to cutting a hole. This really matters in this car due to the location of the engine and the body covering options. It appears to be interchangeable, with minor fitting modifications.

Has anyone done this that can offer an experienced opinion on this?
Is it actually interchangeable?
Any problems?
Any advantages?

Thanks in advance.
