The better deal was when the had the $25 gift card for every $100 spent. That, with rebate and using your Discover Card netted the CAI down to $246-ish.
Just ordered this intake. Thanks for the savings info!!

If you could swap out the original filter that comes with the airaid and install a larger green filter that would make for some good data

thanks for taking the time to document this.

Airaid now had a Race Day series of filters that will flow better than K&N 1044 and the supplied air filter that comes in the CAI kit.

You really need injectors at that point, ID850's or 1,000's. Also recommend getting an upgraded HX and pump. Obviously a custom tune as well. BTW, K&N doesn't make an intake for the V. You sure you have a CTS-V?

    ID850's - $800
    HX - $500
    Pump - $275
    Tune - $500

    Total $2,075[/QUOTE]

I ordered the track attack hx and the ID1000 injectors. Should get them tomorrow, but have read these injectors were too tall with the spacers...Any fixes or should I return them? Thanks!!

I'd have gone with the 850's. Until you get to 17psi you won't need ID1000's. So yes, return them.
