    Muffler delete

    IS there any power improvement from deleting the stock mufflers or is it purely for sound??

    I would have to say mainly sound. Doubt it gives any improvement just like doing a axleback. After doing mine there is no way I would spend 1200 on a Corsa considering how good a muffler delete sounds. There is some drone but I can live with that.

    Is there a specific kit someone sells to replace the mufflers or is just removing them and custom fabricating straight pieces to go in?

    I went the custom route. I bought black powder coated 4 inch tips and had midas muffler do the muffler delete and tips for less than 300.00. (tips included)

    A shop did mine for 150 bucks. That included both 4in stainless tips. The guy liked it so much he put it on their facebook haha

    Is there any drone? It sounds great on the clip on fb just wondering how it is city and freeway driving?

    I have come to enjoy the sound of my Kooks headers to factory exhaust. It the way to go with some added power to boot.

    It does have some drone, some may think its bad but I am sorta use to it since I have owned so many different hot rods over the years it doesnt
    bother me. I would try to ride in one before doing it if thats a big concern.

    no such thing as "drone",... you mean the sound of a blown 500+ hp pushrod V8. it's man music at any rpm.

    i did a delete to mine, im fairly certain ive lost 10-20lbs of midrange torque , but as far as hp goes , i think ive opened up a few at top end http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZRGIPNLuV8
