Diablo claims that their tuner will not show up as having accessed the computer and leaves no trace. That hasn't been confirmed from any verified source that I have read. But I haven't read any claim that someone took a car in for a warranty repair after taking off a 91 oct intake tune, flashing back to stock and had still had their warranty blocked either that I am aware of....

I do know that any tuner that directly tunes the computer will show up as being an unauthorized access.

That risk is on the user in every single case - no company offers a warranty if GM blocks the factory one.... Hennessy does offer a warranty on their packages, but you pay a premium for it for sure, and I believe they have to install it in house.

    Aussie,

You have access to some good tuners out here, I think you should seriously look at that route.

If you want to be able to flash your own, or put it back to stock, then grab a used HP Tuners (or EFI Live).

You can get HP Tuners new for $500, and it comes with 8 credits. You need 2 credits for the V, so you will have 6 left over.

Additionally, credits cost about $99 for 2, so, any used one you buy should have this in mind.

Also, Joe at LeftCoast'32 in in North County. Great guy, has tuned a lot of LS engines with similar blowers, but no dyno. He'll do a flash and then road tune to tweak it.
