    Anyone run a 305/45/18

    As the post asks, anyone run a 305/45/18, especially in a drag radial. I see many using 305/35's, but not the 45 profile and can of figure out why.

    We have run that combination before on our drag car. We actually prefer it because it helps our combination slow the wheel speed down out of the hole.

    Thx D3, yeah, seen several people lately running 305x35x20's, which is the same height, yet a lil wider than the 305x45x18's. One was even lowered. Being that I don't plan on any lowering in my near future I think I will give them a shot. I like the extra sidewall and its nothing to correct for the size in HP tuners. Now I'm off to find a set of 18" C5Z Spiders...
