Wrenching at home...any oddball tools needed?

    Greetings to Group...
I see a few different sources for shop manuals.. Are they all sourced from GM? Anybody care to suggest the best one... or perhaps have a set for sale?

I've got a good space to work in and have access to a pretty complete group of tools. I'll be focusing on maintinance, brakes and suspension for a start.

Do the manuals list specialty tools needed...a pretty pricey set of books, and I want to make sure I get the right ones!

Anybody going to be at Sears Point on the weekend?

Believe it or not I think I have a spare set of Helm manuals for the 2011. I will check tonight. If I do, I'll sell them to you significantly less than $250 plus freight! The Helm manuals are THE ONLY ONES I would buy. VERY complete including the GM Tool numbers required for special jobs. 4 or 5 volume set each volume 3" thick

Plenty of 1/4" drive extensions, if you'll be doing radiator/crank pulley work and need the fans off.

Second the Helm manuals. I wasn't thrilled about dropping $250 but they are impressive and well worth the coin. The 5vol set is huge.
