    Another Oil Catch Can Thread

I tried searching and found nothing, but I seem to struggle with the search feature of this forum, so probably user error. I have a 2012 CTS-V Wagon, bone stock. I want to add an oil catch can and the consensus appears to be the RX Dual Check Valve can.

Am I on the right track and what mounting option do I need for a stock car?

    Thanks

You can also try looking into Moroso or Saikou Michi single/dual cans. I'm sure there's a few others. I have the single can from Saikou Michi and mines is mounted where the airbox used to be. Not sure about the RX, but the Moroso comes with a bracket that let you attach it to the h/x spout.

Moroso does the job for me. I'm a conservative driver but it still catches plenty of oil - more than I'm comfortable with getting sucked into the intake. See the installation video on their website. It mounts stealthily at the passenger side firewall. The only obstacle to installation is removal of the hard to reach U pipe behind the SC bypass. You have to release the connector clips - first the intake, then flip the tube to release the one from the valley. There's a You Tube video of a Camaro installation that demonstrates it. I used a wire snare to pull the tab but an extended needle nose might work. There is no hand small enough to reach. The same type connection is used at the fresh air intake on the valve cover, which can be reached, so practice on that first. Connecting the new hose uses regular hose clamps and is a snap. If not for that U tube it's a fifteen minute job.
