    Mustang 585rwhp...Dynojet??

Vcoupe A6 Mustang dynoed 585rwhp....Curious what a dyno-jet would read considering that seems to be industry standard. I understand end-of-the-day trap speed makes best statement....just wondering, thanks.

heads/cam, upper/lower pulley, 80lb inj, kooks catted x-pipe, airaid cai, ls7 ported tb, ported snout, hx, catchcan, and the trimmings. I'm reading anywhere from 8-12% difference - Car is incredibly strong and very easy to live with. I'm starting to think all these dyno numbers are bs and really just a means for proper tuning.

I dynoed about 558. I think you might get 600 on a jet. Really hard to say. If you run 91 vs 93 octane, that will make a difference too, I ran 91. I have a mild upgraded cam and no head work, so your numbers don't look to bad.

I agree about the dyno numbers. They vary from place to place as well as dyno brands. I had one reading way high at 540 in an auto coupe with intake and cat back.

Called Mustang corp today because I had nothing better to do....They state the "ghost stories" on Mustang vs Jet are appox 10-15% difference, if anyone cares....I'm in agreement with bigj.

Trap speed will tell you the power it's making. I think you're easily over 600RWHP on a dynojet.

    I made 483rwhp & 504rwtq on a Mustang dyno. At the track I ran 10.87 @ 127.

My mods are; 2.5 pulley, 100mm idler, solid isolator, Id850 injectors, Fluidyne HX, Airaid, and ported snout/t-body.

Very good. They have been working any many V's lately.

There's a track rental at Atco they are running this Friday if you're interested.

On drag radials with good track prep it might be better than that.
