    Installing heat exchanger need help

I've taken on the task of installing a Frozen Boast type 101 heat exchanger on my "V". I have gathered all the install info I can find, have read it, but still have some questions.
Which direction does the water flow from the pump?
Does the factory exchanger have to be repositioned so the upper hose on the factory exchanger will clear the new unit?
Are the Tranny cooler lines left unattached and pushed back or are they attached somewhere.
    Any help would be appreciated.

The coolant goes into the front of the pump and exits upward.

Thanks for the great diagram. Now I have to figure out the other stuff.
