    Magnuson Heartbeat Supercharger at SEMA

Not sure if this is a viable alternative to the stock blower, but it will be available for the V2 as well as Chevrolet Corvette (C6), Camaro (2010+), and the Pontiac G8. I'm guessing not a huge improvement over the potential of the 1.9L or larger displacement alternative. Cool design though.

Good to know that formula one cars are using the same technology to cool their superchargers. Got any other non-facts for me?

I'd like to see some more pics to see how they were able to make them so short. Pretty sweet.

The reference to F1 is that the dual Charge Air Coolers (CACs) use exactly the same tubes & fins & supplier as used by several of the F1 teams for their engine cooling systems. It is expensive, but extremely good.
    That is fact.

Re: Magnuson Heartbeat Supercharger at SEMA

Progress has been made ... albeit painfully slow.
Demand for Corvette & Commodore/G8 has surpassed production's capacity, so all other platforms have had to wait. A Camaro pre-production kit has been completed & CTS-V is next.
    Link to Commodore - >720rwhp.

I actually saw this exact SC at SEMA last year. It caught my eye and you are correct. It's really cool and very compact. Very nice design and extremely low profile.

Looks tidy. When will we see some numbers, including IATs?

Re: Magnuson Heartbeat Supercharger at SEMA

It is installed & a very preliminary tune done (standard airbox/filter, standard everything except headers) which added ~100rwhp from re-tuned 1900. ighest IAT2 seen during multiple consecutive dyno pulls was <55C (<130F).
I am now back in California for the next month (I live in Australia with the RHD CTS-V), so nothing much more will happen for the next 5 weeks.
Phase 2 is large throttle body & big air filter, phase 3 is camshaft.

D3 has this on their site. Still nothing on the manufacturer site, but excited to see if it is one of the first CARB approved products to come out....
