When you cut springs is the top wider part of the front spring?

yes the top of the spring is the "wider" loop. Eibachs make it easier, if you can read the writing you have the spring oriented correctly.

Reviving an old thread I noticed that leaving the dust cap off the shock is a 'must'. Can anyone explain? About to do mine tomorrow. Thanks.

I have a horrible squeak in my car since I had the eibacks installed. Mostly in the left front. Any ideas. Thanks
