Nice, you should provide the slip for the 1/4 thread and mod sticky. You bested your previous time by a large margin. Congrats again.

    Auto trans
    Tune
    CAI

Mods: Tune, alky, cat back, filter, oh and heat exchanger. The tires I have are a cheap Australian brand called Federal. They are normal ZR rated street tires. I do a second gear burnout in them and they hook hard, better than any drag radial.

BTW the run wasn't a fluke. I ran another 11.4 and trapped 121 mph on the next run too.

CRAZY!!! I'll have to look into those tires. $180 each on eBay.

Outstanding, from launch to MPH! It is all in the first 60 feet. What rpm did you launch at?

I leave from idle. My left foot is on the brake and the right hovers over the gas. I made the intake from 4" aluminum tube, 45 degree silicone bend, Blox filter, and foam insulation as a heat shield. I did the tune using HP tuners.

Thumbs up Good race for my '57!

The more I read about the CTS-V, the more I'm impressed ... especially with such few mods to make it run sub 11.50's! As noted above, the 1.6 60-foots are the key to making full use of the mods. These V's are really pullin' at the top end, especially the ("stock") one that went 124!

BTW, BLitzkrieg's 11.40 ET's would give a helluva close race for my "Sleeper" '57 Bel Air ... Check it out here (and drop me a vote, if you would, too). Also, here's a YouTube video taken last month ...
