Re: 1/4 Mile ET & Modifications List

    Hello,

Not quite sure where you are going with this, but I will offer a response just for the sake of responding. However if you would like to go into further detail about D3/Products/track times/dyno sheets/etc... please post a new thread as this original thread has merit and we don't want to muck it up.

Arco gas - IMHO we don't think that Arco gas is the highest quality. No facts or anything like that, just an opinion. Most people in Cali might know what we are referring to.

Dyno Sheets - It's because of responses like this is why we really dont bother posting. Every time we do we get a bunch of grief because we test on a Dynapak for accuracy purposes. Then it gets into a huge debate of Mustang/Dynojet/Dynapak/etc.. Not too interested in playing those games. So that is why I provided you with the net gain number measured the same way both times.

Costs - You have been provided out cost of goods/services in the past. This is a post about ET's & mods. We don't want to derail the post anymore than what has already happened. If you need a quote, please PM us for that request.

We understand the Cadillac owner VERY well, as we specialize and cater to the Cadillac owners specifically from all around the world. There are no "Claims" as we posted an actual time slip. We have posted dyno sheets in the past. As far as we know everything has been documented and we are not trying to evade anything.

    Timeslip -
As previously mentioned in one of the early responses, the first run sucked! I'm not quite sure what you are looking for out of this, as it was already described earlier what made up this run, but here is the time slip:

We hope that this will conclude any questions you may have on our posted time slips, or "claimed" upgrades. If you have any further questions, please PM us or call our offices.

We look forward to seeing more time slips posted.

    Thank you,

    Dr. Design

Is this a documented published FACT or are you simply stating your opinion ?
I think clarification is a reasonable request here considering your use of the word "seems"!

By the way, very nice job on using the evasive tactic in so far as NOT posting any dyno #'s (but instead using your recall) and for NOT displaying any actual $$ amount(s) but instead saying, "it was pretty much our normal stage 2 system plus some of our new goodies". Very interesting approach indeed.
What purpose is being served by failing to provide the requested info for forum members now?

And how curious and interesting is it that in your earlier reply when an itemized D3 parts price list ( from your customer's V that you posted the timeslip for) was requested, your response was, "I am not in the office so I cannot provide pricing as such"? In retrospect, apparently this wasn't the issue at all for not providing pricing because even with access there was still no itemizing or $$ amounts posted!

For future reference you might wish to remind yourself from that forum members are, by and large a pretty intelligent group, therefore, your unsubstantiated claims in combination with your delay and evasive tactics really aren't in your best interest , IMO.

BTW, did you forget to post one of your time slips from the dragstrip as was previously requested?

I refer to my earlier post regarding animosity.

Sheesh d3, what'd you do to this guy? He seems to have a real hard-on for you...

    Hahaha...

Re: 1/4 Mile ET & Modifications List

I ran my 2009 CTS-V at Atco on Friday the 10th. I the air was good (69*F) and the track was hooking great (for me anyway). I ended up beating my best time and broke into the 11s. The first was an 11.837 @ 117.69 with a 1.733 60' on Federal 595 RPM that were on the car when I bought it. BTW I did 1.07 G on these same tires.
    http://www.federaltire.com/en/html/p...pdline=1&ID=37

Well the next run I topped the previous with an 11.744 @ 118.36 MPH and a 1.736 60' see below

To date my mods are A-B-C-+ a home made CAI, eth injection (50/50 denatured alky and H2O jet located before the blower), HP Tuners tune (removed tq management and added timing), and Corsa mufflers which really don't do anything. In the dyno sheet below, the first and last runs were with the eth injection on. Runs 2 adn 3 the eth was off.
