Based on some interest that several members have expressed, I'm going to start and maintain a list of 2009+ CTS-V's 1/4 mile stats and modifications. Hopefully I can get this stickied.

The updated list will always be in this first post (I'll update the linked .jpg offline), and will be sorted by 1/4 mile ET:

If you want to make a submission, please include the following:

1) An image of your Timeslip
2) The Density Altitude (DA). If you don't know it give me the track name, date and time of your run and I'll look it up
3) The Letter abbreviations of all the mods that were on your car for that run from the list above (if I missed any MAJOR ones, let me know).

Here's a sample:

DA - 906 Feet
Mods - A-B-C-I-L

I'll do my best to keep the list updated real-time, but at times it might take me a day or so to get your info incorporated into the list. This format always seemed to be the most popular on other sites I'm a member of.

LitiGATOR,

For your result to be valid, you will need more evidence than a simple time slip. We need a video from the other car on the track, a Bugatti Veyron sighting and corroboration from witnesses. Uh, oh ya, got all that. :)

That is one fine result! Again, congrats.

Went to ATCO raceway today and ran my coupe for the first time...bone stock, nothing on it....not even an intake....street tires, auto, and a full tank of gas....did 12.5@116 with a 2.12 60ft (horrible) the other time on this slip on the left was a bone stock sedan who revealed to me the existence of the sport shift (moving the knob over to the right and letting it shift by itself) i was just leaving it in drive and putting it in competition mode....too bad he told me this as i was leaving the strip....guess next time i will know better

I always race my car in drive. I do the burn out in Sport so I can keep the trans from shifting past second gear but them move it back to normal before making a pass. I am sure my car leaves in first gear or the sixty foots would not be as good as they are.

On February 24, 2012, I attended the Southeast CTS-V Drag Race Event at Palm Beach International Raceway in Florida, an event attended by over 20 V's. My bone stock 2011 CTS-V sedan (automatic transmission, Michelin PS2 tires) posted the fastest bone stock eighth and quarter mile ET / MPH (1.875 60 foot, 7.831 @ 92.68 MPH eighth mile, 12.023 @118.02 quarter mile). On that run, the density altitude was 1500 feet, the temperature was 85 degress and the humidity was 52%. (See attached Time Slip.) Please post this run. Thanks.

I took three other quarter mile passes at the event, which were as follows: (12.024 @ 117.44 MPH, 12.110 @ 118.17 MPH and 12.117 @ 117.04. The density altitude was 1917 feet, the temperature was 91 degrees and the humidity was 31% on the last run.

Congrats on the Great time ! At 12.023 you're pushing my 12.028 time out of third place for Bone Stock.
Very impressive considering the lousy DA and not so great 60 ft.
I'm keeping mine completly stock so I can go back and try to improve when the snow finally melts away in early april.

GNXS,

Sir here is my info from the shoot out. Can't seem to get the slip uploaded, BUT it is posted on another forum and the video is here in the shoot out thread on post number 460 by GizmoQ. Hopefully that will do.

Here are the specifics.
Mods A B C D I K L T U X Z
DA ? TIME OF THE RUN WAS 12:12PM. Drag Times says that at 11:53am it was 1769 and one hour later at 12:53pm it was 1923, so I guessed closer to the 1769 time so maybe 1825??? You decide what to put, I'm good with it either way.
60ft was 1.599
1/8th mile was 7.118
1/8th mile mph was 99.16
ET was 11.074
MPH was 124.35

Let me know if you need anything else. If you email me at my user name at hot mail I can send you the slip.

Thanks, SilveRT8. Your 12.028 is impressive as well!

My 2011 V is in as delivered from Cadillac condition, including front and rear Michelin PS2's. I intend to keep it that way.

The February 24 CTS-V event was the first time I took my V to the drags. My four run sequence beginning at 9:54 AM and ending at 1:18 PM was 12.110 @ 118.17 MPH, 12.023 @ 118.02 MPH, 12.024 @ 117.44 MPH and 12.117 @ 117.04 MPH. My rear tire air pressure on those runs was 32, 30, 28 and 28 pounds. Front tires were inflated to 44 pounds on all runs. 60 foot times were 1.934, 1.875, 1.851 and 1.895.

Spring and the drags will be there for you shortly. Have fun!

Hey Bruce,
I only did 3 runs last autumn with 600 miles on the then new wagon, but my 60ft times were 1.852 and 1.817 with 28* in the rear PS2, and for the last run I dropped the pressure to 25* and got a fabulous 1.778 on a prepped track.
Drop the pressure some more and see what happens ?

Here is my time from the PBIR event on February 24. While it is not a big improvement, it is still a PB.

I wish i was at Atco. Always ran my quickest times there with whatever I was racing. Track always hooked. Now I'm in GA and choice is limited.

I scanned it and uploaded the photo, or you can just take a picture of it like others did and upload.

I didn't know about the car always launching in second until after reading here (and after I raced). Now I can't wait to get back.

Nothing significant, but I did manage a personal best. Run was against a Shelby GT500. Reaction time was horrible. Still getting used to a heads up, green light only tree.

DA was 1822.

I am definitely happy with it. I just think there is a little more in it, yet. Getting a wideband installed so I can play with HP Tuners a little more to get the fuel spot on.

Had a blast at the track last night!

DA was 1497 feet

Made few passes and pretty much hotlapped the car.

First was 12.81 at 115.6mph on a 2.30 sixty. (easy pass to see how the car would behave...traction was brutal)

Second was 12.74 at 118.45mph on a 2.26 sixty just touching the limiter on the 2-3 shift. Rolled into first very gently shifting was otherwise solid)

Third pass was the best :)

12.46 at 117.97mph on a 2.07 sixty. Rolling into first gently...also touched the limiter again on 2-3 but shifting was otherwise great.

Really happy with how the car ran given traction challenges and over 4650pd curbweight with me in the car :)

Tire pressure was 28-30psi for all runs.

Sorry for the crappy pic...the ink on the timeslip was light.

Cheers,
