    Squeaky Nav Screen?

My navigation screen squeaks a bit sometimes as it goes up and down. Was just wondering if anyone else had this, and is this a sign of an oncoming problem?

Again, only in high temps. It's done that since day 1. I've learned to ignore it.

    Best regards,

They replaced mine under warranty since they said you can't lube them at all.

I haven't noticed if it is temperature sensitive, but I used a tiny bit of WD-40 and it went away completely.

Mine is temperature related as well, sounds like a little bit of WD-40 may be the ticket. Related subject, drivers window squeaks when hot as well.

I forget the name, but I got some expensive german gel stuff for the window seals and it helps a tone on the amount of wind seal and noise.

Honestly and people will hate, but a tiny bit of WD-40 on a rag goes a long way to help with interior rattles on EVERY car I've ever owned. The trick is to locate areas where surfaces rub, touch and move around, and keep those areas lubed up. Same goes for under the seat. Just don't go spraying that shit everywhere, as it stinks and makes a mess.
