    Will my V be totaled?

First time I got to see the car yesterday.... I love this car and if it is not totaled where do you guys recommend a body shop in Texas, willing to trailer it to a well known shop.

Well the doors are toast, not too big a deal. But the quarter and rocker are, and looks like there might be floor damage too.

Yeah more pics, but it doesn't look too bad from the angle of the photo.

Re: Will my V be totaled?

The repair cost needs to exceed 80% of book value (trade in, I think) to be totalled. Tough to tell from that angle, but it doesn't look totaled to me. But if that quarter panel is as mashed as it appears, then they will be taking out half your interior and welding on a new one. That would put that car on my "fix it and sell it" list.

But that's just me. A good body shop should be able to fix that car so well that nobody (well, almost nobody) would ever know.

No, doesn't look like it unless there is frame damage but it looks like the door took in most of the impact.

No way that's a total loss. I have seen Vs with tons more damage and those aren't total losses either. Insurance will fix it.

Any good body shops here in Texas that you would recommend? Also the cat back needs replacing, will they let me get the same aftermarket ones?

Its a long story but trust me I would if I could.
