impossible to tell from the photo. It doesn't sound crazy. The estimate should all be itemized, with breakouts for parts and labor. It if is short, your body shop will call the adjuster back in.

Not sure if your ins co will pay for towing to a different body shop.

    Good luck.

The car hasent been taken to a body shop yet. I have a trailer and can take it some where in Texas just trying to locate some one who will fix it good. Most body shops around here cant even match paint.

My wife was t-boned in her X5. Damage was primarily to the driver's side doors. Rear passenger door will be replaced, they can repair the driver door. Rocker panel has damage and the rear wheel and tire needs to get replaced. Rear quarter panel looks like it escaped damage.

They are going to remove and reinstall the headlight, taillight, parking lights, trim pieces and emblems because they need to shoot the entire side in order to get it to blend right. Estimate came out to $6,300, so I would say yours isn't out of line.

Are you going through your insurance company? Look for one of their recommended shops. They should offer a lifetime guarantee. That way if there are any issues they have to address it.
