    I don't think you can lease a 2013 V. It has to be a 2014 V.

This was not an option for me in California when I got my 2012 CTS-V used. I did ask that question though. "Can I lease?" The quick answer was no. Had to buy it.

I lease mine. I don't want the risk of owning a car. Too much downside for me.

I agree! After going through a horrible 9 year vehicle ownership experience, I vowed NEVER to purchase a car again and own it for the long term. I ONLY lease now! Leasing gives you flexibility and options. Purchasing doesn't.

#1 reason I lease is that returning a car that's been in a crash when it's leased has no financial penalty, assuming it was repaired. Try doing that with a car you own.

I can't agree more! My 2011 V Coupe was in an accident that caused $14K damage to the front end. After the 2 year lease was up, I simply turned it in and walked away. Had I owned that car, I would have been crushed! Try trading in a car that has been in a wreck like that or selling it private party. You would end up taking a bath!!! Forget vehicle ownership. Leasing is the way to go!
