    Locked in the car?

I was cleaning the inside of the windshield and I exited the drivers side and went to the passengers side, got in and cleaned that side. I tried to open the door to get back out and nothing I did would unlock the door. I had the fob in my pocket. The only thing I could think to do was remote start the car. Once it started the unlock button on the door worked.
Has anyone else had this happen?

Do you have a coupe? Profile doesn't specify.

With the coupe there's manual releases down by the door sills. There's a red diagram on it. Try pulling and your door will open like handles. And yes it was kinda funny

    Re: Locked in the car?

I did not think about the handle near the sill but I don't understand why the door would not open normally. Thanks for the input. And, no, it was not funny, it was stupid. I asked a question out of concern.

This is gonna sound obvious, but I'm gonna ask (don't mean to sound condescending). Did you hit the power door lock button to try and unlock the door?

    Re: Locked in the car?

I was in there for a fair amount of time. What is confusing is that with the fob in the car, would it lock and not unlock with the switch or the fob?
