    Blind Spot

The blind spot in the side view mirrors is beyond terrible. What have you guys done? I'm considering those little dome mirrors that stick on the factory mirror.

There are giant blind spots with shoulder checking, but it's actually the mirrors I rely on. Have you tried moving the mirrors around to cover the spot?

I lean way out to one side, adjust the mirror so I can see "normally". then I sit in my seat "regularly" and that eliminates the blind spot. Repeat opposite side.

I do adjust the mirrors way out, but I don't like driving like that. It limits the sight distance directly behind me.

Mine has it. I believe its on '12 and up. It helps but you still have to be cautious with such a large blind zone.

This. I don't have a blind spot. Checking the mirrors keeps me from doing anything other than a cursory glance out the side windows when changing lanes.

    What blind spot?

PS BZA is only on coupes, not on sedans or wagons of any year.

Blind spots don't exist with the mirrors adjusted properly.

Been driving like this for years. Took getting used to but its great. Too bad the wife's Grand Cherokee mirrors don't allow this.

    Re: Blind Spot

I use the above method. But the V2 mirrors are no where near as good as they were on the V1. With the V1 you could see cars in your blind spot 2 lanes over instead of just 1. I wish the V2 mirrors were just a bit wider. FYI this is the only thing I think was better on the V1 than on the V2.

Do you have a coupe? They are rated "exceptional" in the blind spot column. My sedan isn't bad at all.

I have never had this problem with another car. Only the V. I have owned over 30 cars.
