    Proper mirror adjustment...
    When car no longer seen in the rear view mirror,
    The car now is seen in the side mirrors.
    The side mirrors need to be deflected out enough so when the car is no longer seen in the side mirrors you can see the car by looking left or right without having to look backwards.

    The side mirrors are turned out more than what most people are accustomed to, but you get used to it.

    This is what I do -- it works great - takes a little getting used to -- but I think is the best overall -- Set up for the track also and it is fine.

    My solution - put enough throttle into her to maintain a safe distance in FRONT of every car on the road

    Also, if you can speed up just before you change lanes, you get an extra margin of safety.
