Looks like I'll have to take a picture of the sticker on the car that reads "2014 Cadillac CTS-V Sedan". Now, if this is GM's way of bait and switch, it's pretty dubious. But, I've sat in the car, looked it over from stem to stern, and certainly read the "official" window sticker, and it does read 2014. Surprised the heck of me since it came in two weeks after I took delivery of my 2013. I'm aware that the V Sport is a totally different car, and it's why I opted to jump on the 2013 CTS-V, because I wasn't all that interested in the V Sport.

The 2014 V models (not V-Sport) are carry over of the second gen CTS body styles. This is true for the CTS-V sedan, coupe and wagon.

the Toronto mayor is probably the OP. Saw the footage this morning of his <allegedly> threatening to kill somebody......there is much discussion about who he might be <allegedly> threatening to kill....but we know he is referring to one of the numerous members of this forum that dared to explain to him that there is a 2014 V8 CTS-V.......

I just can't believe what my future holds have cost. I made a mistake and didn't know about the cts-v sport compared to the regular cts-v regarding the sedan. This then turns into a political forum and thanks to Toronto's Mayer it's now all of a sudden something that has nothing to do with Cadillacs. I said that Cadillac and most north american manufacturers are lacking a bit at times with the Germans. But many Americans here like to call me a moron or a loser or whatever for speaking the truth and my mind. Fact is more people buy German cars high end cars than north american high end cars. Its also a fact that when an american manufacturer out does a German , then they respond with a counter offensive. Case in point is the new BMW M5. Yet when I mention my opinion onnthisni get reamed on by idiots and bringing up politics who bad mouth Canadians. The fact is the better counties to live in is not the USA. Its not Canada but most western European countries if you want to talk politics on this board. But having said that can the idiots who bad mouth me and anyone else not from this USA please start to talk about cadillacs.

    That's not political, that's pop-cultural.

Maybe next time spend a couple of minutes reading before firing off an angry rant about another person's or company's arrogance/stupidity. Or at least take a hint when the "facts" of your rant are called into question.

And don't try to salvage your pride by shifting subjects. Whatever truth you may have spoken was lost in a sea of wrongheadedness and defiance of basic facts. Just quit while you're behind.

You spoke your mind. There was no "truth" in anything you've said in this thread. You talk little about your mistakes and then deflect, deflect, deflect...

YOU were the one who started with stereotypes and name calling. Then, when others do it your panties bunch up.

As for idiots, look no further than the title of this thread...

The OP has obviously never been to any of the countries he strokes himself thinking about. I have. My wife actually lived in Germany for a couple of years. For the most part people are in debt to a level that would make Americans blush and don't have nearly the quality of life we have. As for everything else he said, it's his usual crack induced nonsense.

There was never an issue with this. None. Where there was an issue is when your pride got in the way and even after you were "corrected" you continued on. Where you'll run into problems quick (as you've seen) on boards like this is when you simply refuse to own up and admit you f-ed it up. That's not a big deal at all. We've all done that at some point so we get it. Keep that in perspective and you'll go far here. If not, pull the plug because the target will be tattooed on your back like Steve-O's face which will make a painful experience for you and an entertaining one for the masses. That's my last attempt at diplomacy. Enjoy your ride. That's what it's all about.
