    GM will warranty it if the shop/regional manager says its bad enough. Depends on where live.

    Directly from GM.

    Local dealer has approval to contract out for replacement (Cox Chevrolet, Bradenton, FL). But common sense should be enough ....if a component is subject to direct shock/stress with a solid coupler VS absorption (think the driveshaft coupler on a CTS-V).

    My service manager ordered mine and my rear diff sight unseen. He basically said GM had changed their stance on the issue and was changing them left and right. The stock was backordered for awhile.

    I just picked it up. The fixed the supercharger and also I complained that the rear end had a roar to it below 30 mph. Here is the invoice.

    good to hear. a lot of threads where members could not get theirs replaced

    Just took my V in because of the noises coming from the supercharger, they are replacing it now, had the part over-nighted yesterday
