I've been using OnStar personal calling for years because I believed that use of the roof antenna would give better range vs. the mobile phone. I paired my iPhone with the car and it works fine. This is a dumb question, but which antenna system is used when the mobile phone is connected? I assume the mobile phone antenna is used but I'm not positive. Some of you electronic whizzes probably know the answer.

Its the phone itself. Bluetooth just allows the car to "talk" to the phone. Same as a Bluetooth headset.
