    Re: Motor Mount Replacement

    For the archives -

Apologies in advance for the lack of photos - no camera handy at the time.
I will do my best to recap the motor mount replacement procedure as I saw it performed. Note: this is specific to the passenger side.

    Pull plastic off the motor
    Remove dipstick
Remove coil packs, plugs, and wires
Loosen exhaust manifold just enough to rock it out of the way (both at the block & at the cat)
You should be able to see the stud and nut at the top of the motor mount - remove the nut
    Lift the car
Remove lower nut - mine was already broken
Place jack under oil pan (weight evenly distributed) and jack up on the motor until the mount can be removed
Insert new mount (pay attention to the locator pin)
    Slowly lower motor back down
Install the lower nut for the mount
    Lower car from the lift
Install the upper nut for the mount
    Rehang the exhaust manifold
Reinstall the coil packs, plugs, and wires
    Reinstall dipstick
    Snap plastic back on motor
    Enjoy!
