    Re: Selling the V

Wow, sounds like a deal, it's shame your going to loose so much money unless it gets bid up more, I'm sure it will. Are you the original owner and why sell a car you've put so much work into and so new? Getting a Ferrari or something?

You've put a shit-ton of performance parts on that thing - that's a damn shame you have to sell it.

You probably would have been money ahead to pull off what you could and sold it here (or traded for cash+OEM) on the forums.

Starting a new business venture for ,y mother to retire. Need to free up some cash, a $900 payment would be nice to get rid of until I'm up and running. The things children do for their parents

No doubt the price is right! If I wasn't looking for a coupe and a rookie high HP guy who will be fine with a stock V it'd be hard to pass up this car!

Auction still says: This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available. (using link above)

    Re: Selling the V

No offense, but you shouldn't be surprised that it's difficult to quick-sell a car with significant mods... plus it's an automatic with no Recaros, and IMHO this forum's active users are disproportionately of the manual-or-die and must-have-Recaros persuasion.

Also, I noticed at the time of your auction there were five CTS-Vs up for sale on ebay, all of them black sedans. Maybe supply/demand for black sedans is a little out of whack right now, or at least competition for buyers is stiff.

Yours is a sweet ride, but it calls for a specific kind of buyer. Good luck with your sale and your business venture.

    Re: Selling the V

Ya, I think having mods can make for a tougher sale, my brother had a way tricked out G8GT with 800hp and he could not give that car away. Last I heard he was going to de-mod it and then sell it.
