    Detailing the V

A couple of my buddies from church live to detail cars (I don't) so after seeing my "V Lab" V with all the adhesive residue and track grim stuck all over it they volunteered to detail it for me. They used Zaino products (three different ones) on it, I do their mechanic work and fabrication and they detail my rides. The pictures just don't do it justice.

Cutting the adhesive left from the V-Lab decals was rough.

Very true, 4 hours for three guys on a rare warm sunny day in December.

    Looks good. Last car I detailed was my 335i, wash,clay,wash,compound (M105), polish(M205),wash,wax(swissvax glacier),seal(blacklight). 18 hours over 3 days, now that's a real detail!

very very nice!! i too use zaino and just looking at your car makes me want to get black again -- first 2 v's were black, now i have silver because i was getting tired of doing what your friends did. silver is damn near maintenance free (exterior)-- a couple of applications of zaino in the spring and then just wash it, dry it off and spend 30 minutes on the wheels and it looks great; not "black" great but great nonetheless.
