    New CTS-V owner from AZ

    Hey guys,

I just bought a 2009 CPO, one owner CTS-V from Long Cadillac in MA; it's on a truck right now and will be here Tuesday. I can't wait!! It took so long to find the car because I was looking for a black, low milage, 6 speed with Recaros......took a while, but I found it. I came from a C63 AMG and I am not looking back. It was a wonderful car but the aftermarket support was scarce was big money for normal items($5,000 for an intake, $18,000 for Weistec Supercharger). I really love modding my cars and to know that I would spend more on parts than I did on the car. Before that I had a Jeep GC SRT-8 and a 300 SRT-8. I was on the lxforums and AMG boards. I love the V and I am really excited about getting mine!! Pictures to come upon its arrival!!

Does anyone know of good tuners in Arizona? I know that Kachina is suppose to be the go to dealer, but I am looking for an installer and tuner. Thanks guys! Looking forward to talking with all you guys, seems like a great group.

Great to hear you found what you wanted! I, too, came from a 300C SRT-8. Great car but the V is in a completely different league. Enjoy!

Wow, that's interesting long cadillac, have not heard that dealer name for a while but I grew up right near there. They are a good dealer and have been there for many years.

I have a 2013 Vagon on order right now, had a Sedan. You're gonna love the car. There is a huge amount of aftermarket support and to make the car a real rocket is simple, just a tune and smaller upper pulley or larger lower pulley that goes to the supercharger. As least you don't have to worry about voiding warrantees as much as if you were getting a newer one. I'm really not going to mess with my 2013 as I want to preserve the 6 year powertrain warrantee.

It deff is interesting, mostly because they are 44 hours away from me....haha. I buy a lot of equip out of state for my company and have no issues with shipping, but I try to buy my personal cars in town or at least within driving distance. If it wasnt a one owner CPO car I might not have pulled the trigger. I talked to the transporter already and he said the car looks like new, we shall see.

I really wanted a wagon, like a lot. The issue was finding a black wagon with all the options I wanted was not happening, unless I bought new. Someday.....

Ya, Black Wagons with 6 speeds are nearly impossible to find used. Sounds like you got a good transporter, thats a good thing. I had a old Chevelle transported a long time ago from TX and they really messed that car up bad, been scared of transporting cars ever since. But from the most part bad things don't happen too often.

I was just there on Friday. They seem pretty good. If you had asked here, I could've taken a closer look for you...

So funny you say that, I really was wanting somone to go and look for me. It sat there for about 10 days before it shipped and the wait was killing me. I talked to the transpoter today and the car will be here between 11-1 tomorrow. So ****ing happy right now....

The deal closed on the 9th so this has been quite a wait on the car....

Alpha, I have a stage 4 V. 700hp 100octain tune, let me know if you want to meet up for a test ride. I had Dyno Comp up at the Scottsdale Air Park set it up for me. I have another V coupe being torn down and built into a track car by a company out of Redmond WA. Anyways, your going to love the car. See you around.

    Oh boy is it.......

I just love this car. It is seriously almost perfect.....haha. I am going to write a full review on it compared to my AMG, but it will take me a day or two. The car is wonderful and I really want to start modding!!

Let me know if you want to go for a spin in mine to get an idea of mod plans.
