I never ride in the back, and hate to be a passenger, but what do you guys hear about the comfort of the back of the sedan? When I sit back there when the car is stopped, I am very comfortable. What do you hear from the rear seat passengers?

Good for short rides, bad otherwise. Whoever sits behind me is screwed.

    Re: Back Seat Comfort

Anyone over six feet tall won't be happy back there either.

Fortunately, no one will ride w me (can't imagine why), so it's not much of a problem.

But it is cramped back there.

    Re: Back Seat Comfort

If you can get yourself settled in back there, it's not so bad if it's not for a long time. Moving around and changing positions ain't a picnic... and neither is ingress/egress.

    Best regards,

    Elie

    Re: Back Seat Comfort

Well, at least it's not previous generations 3-series or IS-bad. Woe be to the adult sitting behind me with my long legs, though! Luckily, I have only a little one who sits behind me, and he's comfy as long as he's got his iPad in his hands.

Have a car seat and a booster seat in back so adults rarely ever sit back there. Had my mother in law in back for a trip to the airport recently and had complaint on comfort, but she noted the loud exhaust note. Secretly I think she liked it. :-D

Ha haa! I can't believe that it's that bad. I need to spend more time back there, but I would worry about the driver. You have to respect that much power. My wife, who is fairly short and has a bad back, likes to lay down in the back for long trips. Anyway it looks pretty inviting, but not as good as in the Recaro driver's seat.

There were 3 of us in my V1 on a 10,000 mile trip. Back seat room was fine.

In the V2, it's fine unless I was sitting behind myself. Headroom with the Ultraview sucks but is plentiful without.
