    Dudes...it's a car. Chill out.

Cleaning up a spilled drink is *always* easier and more pleasant than getting into/fixing a fight with the woman you love. Have you learned nothing yet??

you got to pick your battles no doubt, However, I respect my wife's boundaries and I expect the same in return. Some peoples boundaries are quirky to others but it should be respected.

I shared this story with my wife and she got more amped about it than I did. I have a 9 yo son and I am teaching him to respect and take care of the car too. Its a worthy investment and it should be taken care of. Its not a beater.

My wife just got a new car and she now has the same rule about food and drink.

Wow you should see me go pick up a carry out pizza. No pizza in the car without a towel underneath it. You would understand if you had a greasy pizza soak through the carboard box get on the seat or carpet. That shit does not come out (perma stain) and your car will reeeeeeek of pizza for months. Once bitten forever shy.

I insist on hand washing by passengers after a greasy meal or sugary deserts. Reasonable?

Yeah, I don't allow pizza or barbecue, etc., in the passenger area. I'm going to get a plastic tub for the trunk to house any take-out food. Big drink cups get in the way of the shifter in the front, so there's another advantage to the manual transmission.

    BWAAAAA! Holy shit!

As shocking as that is, I had a painter put a airless spray gun with a fresh 5 gallon bucket of white paint (lid off) in an elevator at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. Think polished brass, mahogany, 52 floors and high speed elevators.
As he walked out to pick up the hose and gun, some idiot in a suit called him over. The stripping sound we all heard was the hose ripping between the closed doors. the elevator had been called down to a lower floor. When the gun hit the door it picked the sprayer and 5 gallons of white paint up to the ceiling of the elevator and exploded. We all looked at each other like, who's going to go push that button? The painter did and we all waited with baited breath, the doors opened and as you can imagine, a white elevator, broken lights on the floor, drops falling from the ceiling. it was beautiful!
The painter pushed the button again after they locked the door open and waited for the next elevator, never saw him again.
Club Malibu and Club Malibu like this.
