    High speed wobble

Need some help. I was at the track today and I experienced high speed wobble coming from the rear end. I was running my pilot sports at about 26lbs of pressure. Funny thing is I have actually gone faster on the highway very recently with no wobble. I was also in sport mode on the suspension and comp mode on the traction control. Any clue what this could be?

    Re: High speed wobble

Usually you need higher pressure for speeds over 100 mph. 26 lbs is 6 lbs lower than recommended for normal (<100 mph) conditions. I would check for tire damage...

What happens if you keep the higher pressure in the tire all the time. Sometimes I exceed 100 for brief periods only.

The car was designed to drive that fast. 32psi is the way to go unless you're under some extreme (track) conditions.

Did you refill the tire to proper recommendation? I'm sure it was the low tire pressure in the tires. Will help with traction, but get wobbly at high speeds.

I would check the lugs just to be sure.
