New is a bit too expensive. I got quoted like 71k out the door as the best price I could find which is a decent 12k more than my OTD price on this one. And that one didn't include the satin wheels or yellow calipers I was looking for.

I assumed CPO was better than regular used. It has the extended warranty for 6 years/100,000 miles and I believe they say it has to meet certain standards and anything that doesn't get replaced. Now I guess that depends on how much you trust Cadillac and their dealerships..... However I don't see why it would be worse than normal used...

Does the tire wear seem suspicious to you guys who own the CTS-V?

Is that an accurate reading or just eye-balling it? Tires need to be replaced at 2/32" tread and should at 4/32" tread. That's something that should come up under the CPO checklist.

Only reason i bring up new is I've heard of some people getting amazing deals on leftover 2012's, like around 60-62 grand. Even if the wheels are chrome and you want black, you can take care of that for under 400 bucks and paint the calipers at the same time. Something to think about. I just dunno if I trust the whole CPO deal and you gotta really wonder where the car has been and who has driven it.

60-62k otd and with recaros? Tax here will kill me nicely at 8.75%.... I would love to get a new one, but it's just too high a cost

    Found this thing

Maybe I should request this sheet from them Good to know what's on the checklist. What do you guys think?
The camaro stealership video has given me pause.

Quick update, dealer didn't want to really give me any specific info on the rear tire tread measurement and probably didn't like me asking if it was up to "CPO Standards". Also didn't like me trying to find out where each of the fees were from as opposed to my calculations for the loan.

Always get a little fishy when the salesperson keeps on telling you how awesome a deal you're getting. I think every time they tell you that, it's a way of knowing they're ripping you off more . I'm going to sleep on this one and decide if I'm willing to just accept those as "hidden fees". Honestly they weren't very high anyway. The funny thing is, if the dealer was just honest and transparent about it I probably would have signed the contract tonight.

I haven't seen a single dealer that will do 60k on a decently equipped 2012 leftover Wagon.

No kidding, I've been all over FL, GA, VA, there seem to be no deals at all. Best I can get is invoice less the rebates, which comes out just a shade over $65k plus ttl (MSRP of around $74k on most, some higher, some lower). FWIW, got a quote on a loaded '13 wagon of $67.5k which beats many of the quotes on the comparably equipped leftover '12's.

Anyone want to add any color (or what they have heard) about the 2011 Red V with 212 miles?

man, that dealership really messed up. if they were just more upfront and honest about the extra fees & condition of the car I probably would have bought through them.

I am very close to this dealer, if you want me to look it over for you.

I am having one looked over out-of-state this week.

Well I pulled the trigger on the red '11 with 212 (currently 351 miles). Dealer is shipping it on Thurday. Glad to see what I paid wasn't much more than what they did!
