    Finally!

I finally pulled the trigger and traded the S/G 05 for a new one. New car is a '12 Black diamond with the recaro's, satin graphite wheels, suade, ultra view, and the mandatory MN6. About the only thing missing are the yellow calipers, and after the wife made the comment about it being a Steeler fan car with the yellow, I'm EXTREMELY happy with the silver ones. Now to put some miles on her to break her in. What is a good number for break in mileage on this thing? This pic is from right before we left the dealership.

I guess I need a new custom plate now. The current one doesn't really fit the car anymore.

The Steelers would be a step up considering the Browns and Bengals both suck respectively.

    1,500 milez.

The satin wheels and silver calipers look is pretty good, and popular on lots it seems. I don't think I've ever seen a yellow caliper car @ colonial. Did they have any there?

car looks good!! i've got the same set up with the yellow calipers/auto, and i hate the steelers, lol... Was a Colts fan and thought about painting my calipers blue, but after they got rid of Manning, I'm rooting for the Broncos, may have to look into a lambo orange color for my calipers, lol... plasti dip those front fender vents asap, i did that the same day i took mine home from the dealership!

They had a red coupe that had the yellow calipers on it. IMHO, it just didn't look right with the red paint job. As far as you Steeler fans go, I was born a Browns fan and will remain one for life. Everybody has to root for somebody, every every dawg has his day. The Browns will get there someday, just gotta believe.

Silver looks WAY better than the banana calipers. Sorry the yellow looks odd. Why yellow? Red maybe, black sure, blue meh, but nanner calipers are odd.

There is really no break in - drive it as your going to drive it - avoid constaint long runs at the same speed / rpm - you want to put it through it's paces - get on it every now and then and change the oil at 500 miles (just me on that). Enjoy and have fun!

And what the hell is up with the plastic grills? I was really disappointed that they went with the chrome plated plastic, instead of the metal mesh like the gen 1 cars. Now I'm seriously considering the plasti-dip to balck them out.
