    2014...

Anyone hear details on the upcoming 2014? If this CUE system is going to be in that, its definitely going to be a step up! Pictures with the Camo don't show to much on body details (at least for the regular CTS). I'm guessing it would be inbetween the XTS and ATS in terms of styling but for the "V", I wonder how aggressive of a look they can get.

    Hi nynd,

Glad you're excited for the 2014 vehicles! I just double checked my resources to confirm, and unfortunately I do not have access to 2014 details at this time. Please don't hesitate to send me a private message anytime for follow-ups, though! I'm always happy to check my internal sources for updates. (http://media.cadillac.com/media/us/e...llac/news.html is always a great place to keep checking for official updates, too!)

    Best,

CUE would be a massive step down IMHO. I tried it out at the car show, and have read a couple of reviews. It is much better to have buttons that you can feel while driving than a touch screen, but again, it's just my opinion.

Good point. Unless the touch screen is easily reachable and intuitive, it will be too distracting. Touch screens are all the rage now, like the pop-up screen years ago. It will probably come down to weighing the pluses and minuses of the new system. Hopefully, there will be sufficient customization to outweigh the disadvantages.

Siri is powered by Nuance, which is in most Android devices as well. The voice recognition will rock.

I hope we get a quantum leap in voice recognition technology with CUE. Maybe we'll be able to have regular conversations with our car computers in a few years. I hope that I'm around to enjoy it.

I saw that mustangs offer the glass roof option, I wonder how something like that would be in a V. Ah well, time will tell. As for the CUE, I was more impressed with the configurable instrument cluster display (look on youtube for demo's). Is seems so cool the way it comes to life. An in dash Nav touch screen will be nice with more phone integration (like streaming music without cables).
