Cheapest Price you've found the Brembo OEM Brake Pads at?

I have a little over 28,000 miles on my car and called the dealership for a quote on new pads.

I was told $450 for fronts and $150 for rears. The price for the fronts was shocking to me.

Now before you all start recommending alternate pads, I will say I am only interested in the "high dust" OEM pads.

Where has someone bought these for less?

GMpartsdirect.com, should net you around 20-30% difference depending on what discount they're already giving you after shipping costs.

honestly though, a couple hundred $$$ for 6-pot pads is about right. Even aftermarket hawks are north of $300. The rears are cheaper because it's a caliper and pad combination that's used more frequently. Even the Camaro SS has the same rear calipers we do. I will admit the Cmax pads I bought were significantly cheaper, but they're also strictly a street low-dusting pad. I wouldn't trust them on anything remotely track oriented for a second. Bottom line, if you want an OE pad, be prepared to shell $500 or so all said and done.

Actually here is a good thread

http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...pad-shape.html (anyone know the brembo pad shape #)
the Jeep SRT-8 is also getting identical looking 6-pot GT calipers by Brembo, I wonder if they'll be interchangeable?

I'm sure he has his own reasons. I can say I would understand wanting to keep *everything* OE.
