If you just damaged the plastic pieces a heat gun works wonders. Did the same thing on my 2012 vagon when it was a week old....

Take them of and take heat gun and you can reform it. Where the plastic pieces slide into the slots just use super glue to repair the pot metal piece.

Honestly in works...mine came out and u cannot een tell anything happened.

I found out about yhis on this forum.

Thx for the info guys.. did mine is going down a friends very steep cottage gravel driveway.... Found the part number you mentioned on Rockauto.. seems too cheap to be right! $80?? my dealer here wanted $350Cdn for it.

Has anyone tried spray painting there damaged ones in a glossy paint to match the body color? I Wonder how that would look.

Sorry about the user name, my other car is an 04 Corvette.
Funny you should ask about painting. Caring for my Vette I learned a great deal about detailing as well as painting to repair nicks and scratches.
I also have a black 2010 CTS-V sedan I purchased last July. Last weekend I reshaped some damage to the right front trim using hot tap water in my utility room sink. Rubber kitchen gloves will protect your hands from the heat. Then I sanded out the gouges left by the concreate using 50 grit, then 120, then 220 and finally 320 grit sand paper. A sanding mouse (shaped like a small iron) helps speed this up. I then painted all three pieces with black rattle can plastic paint. This I followed with a small spray gun using black touch up paint from Autozone. The touch up paint comes in a bottle not much bigger than a tube of lipstick. I just dumped the whole thing in my gun and used some reducer I have on hand to thin it. A hobby shop air brush would work just as well though. The plastic paint bonds to the trim and the auto paint bonds to the plastic paint. Be sure to scuff the plastic paint before you put on the auto paint. I think it looks great blacked out up against my black car.

Depending on how bad it's damaged, you can fix it. I pulled all three pieces off, sanded out the gouges and Plasti-Diped them. They look better in black, and you can't tell they were ever damaged...
