    wait4me CAI parts question

Not sure if I'm missing a part. Is the wait4me CAI supposed to come with a 45 degree plastic fitting that goes into the hump hose for the PCV connector? I don't see how it'll work otherwise. I have it kinked so much it can't be right. Is this kit supposed to come with instructions? Anyone? Thanks in advance.

Pull the stock plastic adapter out of the factory unit.

I knew enough to do that. It just doesn't mate properly. My PCV line sticks up higher now so I can't put the engine cover back on. I'll take a pic in a little bit.

I think I have my hose section rotated a little more counter clockwise from standing on the drivers side. The bend is 90 degrees but it's not pinched at all.

Thanks for the pics Drum. The nipple on my hump hose looks shorter than yours.
I don't think mine is crimped all the way but it does seem like there's a lot of stress on the tube and the hose. Do you think I'll be ok?

Looks bad to me. I'd put it back to stock until you can get an answer.

Was there ever a definitive answer on this? I also ordered a kit and mine does not have this piece either so I assume you dont need it, but if you look on Lingenfelters site they show it in the picture as a required part? Anyone get this piece with Wait4me CAI? Thanks.

I see that you do not have the 45 degree hose connection............. from where the fresh air PCV tubes connect to CAI.

Just spoke to Jesse, he said that you do not need the piece. Said to just heat up the stock one and will mate no problem. Case closed i suppose

    Re: wait4me CAI parts question

Just answered the PM I received on this. I did not receive a 45 either. It fits without it. I have pictures if anyone needs them. I just pulled mine off and installed a different one. Dynoing on Friday.
