I popped the cover off behind the mirror on my 2010 sedan and no wire connector. What am I missing?

If I remember correctly the wiring harness plugs directly into the back on the mirror on the 2010. Design changed for 2011.

My 2010 doesn't. I wanted to hardwire it to the rearview mirror, but you can't.

Nice, but how do you intergrate the remote display with this mount?

I've never used the remote display, but I'll checked it out and get back with you. It shouldn't be to difficult.

Many kudos for doing some quality work and documenting it for us. I used the Invisicord but that's because I'm lazy...

Instructions with the cord or in this post? Was your mirror connector directly plugged into the back of the mirror or under the cover similar to the first post?

Nothing to do with this thread. There is an Invisicord thread out there, I believe...

Re: V1 hardwire install in 2011 CTS-V Coupe

I did mine the same way as the web page on inviscord said.

    Works awesome!!

For those of you wanting to do the remote display you can actually hide the control unit in the light fixture up top and then run the cord to where ever you want for the remote display. I was going to do that, but have not done it yet. I have my V1 mounted up high just above my lower tint line so it's out of sight, out of mind, and I can just flip down my visor and no LEO can see it. It also has the highest front and rear sight I could get it to so gives me that much more of a alert time.

To the original poster or anyone in this field with knowledge please help me out!

What do I need to complete this install?

I know you will need a valentine 1 radar, a blendmount, and a invisicord.

On the inviscord what specific wiring or harness do I need to install this in the rear view mirror? Also do you guys know if their is a power source on the back of the rear view mirror? If I am forgetting something please fill me in thanks!

Just trying to make this install very simple and easy. Thanks for the help!
