Car needs to sit lower. I like the rims. Anything black piano reminds me of obsidian which scares me.

Not a bad looking wheel. What exactly is piano black, compared to glossy black anyway?

i agree it would look better lowered, but the car i used in this pic is stock... i think piano black is just another way of saying gloss black

    Just a joke.

The obsidian trim in our cars, which scratches if you breath on it, has been compred to piano black finish.

Not in a split spoke. Not in shiny black. Wheels should have definition. They should be the final touch of a sweet ride. They shouldn't disappear like that...

    ^^^^

I have to agree. Black wheels on black (or even just dark) cars don't do it for me. Makes me think of a taxi cab or police cruiser or something. That and I've still not seen any after-market wheel, in any color or finish, that I like better than the OEMs on this car. Just my opinion.

Ok...yes to the wheels...not my style. If you're into them it's cool. But....the car needs to sit lower...IMHO.

The wheels look good. I am still in a toss up what ones to get for my Red. All black with color matching red ring, or black, chrome and red. or all black. So much contemplating. Ive photoshop'd about 6 different wheels and still cant make a decision. The black def looks good with those though.
A little off topic I want if you could get someone to make a clear film for the obsidian trim and still look shiny.

Ireally agree with IBNR...couldn't find any aftermarket wheels I liked as much until I saw the ADV series. I would not lower my car as much as in the picture, but these rock!

    Photoshopped Forgestar F14s [PIC]

I have these sitting in my garage, fronts don't fit without spacers. The backs need special centercaps that stickout to cover the bolts. Dealing with them was pretty bad also.

If you like the color just powdercoat the stock wheels.

I know I'm reviving a super old thread - but whats the current status on Forgestar wheels and the CTS-V off sets? Allklr - did you address your concern with Forgestar?
