Just bought used V, looking for advice.

Just got an used '09 V, and am new to the forum.
I am very happy with my car, but am suprised about # of TSB's I have read about here.

I have tried to search for them here, but I always get zero results? I was looking for advice on what to watch out for?

I have the front wheel click.

Supercharger isolator sounds fine (wish there was more whine!)

Have the chipped paint around my CHMSL. (mentioned this in other post)

I have heard mention of a TSB for the rear deck rattle (stereo sounds like crap!), but have not really heard for sure.

Anything else I should look into?
Also, any advice for dealing with my dealership, I am not thinking I am going to get good service from them, been only so-so up to now. (On a side note, can warranty work be done at any GM dealer? I have a local Chevy dealership that I have used forever and they are great)

    Thanks in advance!

The early '09s' battery cable should be checked for proper routing to/near the starter.

On the bottom of the factory rubber inlet where the MAF sensor lives are 2 resonator tubes to quiet the SC. If you mess with those I bet you can hear more whine. I think they are held on with clamps so you could remove the tubes and cap the holes, using the clamps once again. I don't know anybody who has actually done this but I think it will work. Or you could put on a CAI and you will get whine I understand. Your warranty may get compromised however from some of the posts I have read here. Welcome to the club.

If you really want more whine from the SC here you go:

Got it done a week ago...the only difference is supercharger whine (wonderful) and a lot more go...

In an earlier post someone mentioned that if the rear hood seal rubber was removed for more air in the engine compartment, there also is more S/C noise.
    Enjoy the car.

Well, the cowl is a high pressure area at speed, so rain/snow will be driven in if the seal is not there. The engine compartment is vented through the fender vents.
