Cost about $1000 installed. Didn't want it in with the NAV screen as I usually have it down and didn't want to raise it every time I wanted to see the back up cam.

How'd you get the gentex mirror to display the LCD when the car is not in reverse? My mirror looks just like yours but it only displays in reverse, I think due to pin 9 (on the gm 16 pin connector)not having a signal as its the reverse dim inhibitor. Theoretically, I think you can just apply a voltage with a switch to control this but I'm not sure how to limit the current to not fry the mirror.
Also did your cts have the airbag indictor on the original mirror? Mine did, and I'm trying to not loose that information by adding some type of external airbag indicator but I'm not sure where to buy one. In theory, I think I can get any gm indicator to work, I just need to find one.

The brain that I installed allows the front camera to activate any time I press the button. Rear camera came on only in reverse. I assume it's all part of the circuitry.

I don't remember having an ABS indicator in the mirror (I don't have the car any more). If I remember correctly there was an indicator in the center console.

    Nice,

I really wish there were side and front cameras or at least just front sensors... Always worried about bumping the front splitter
