    Sacrificing brake cooling to get more air into the stock air box is pretty silly unless you only drag race. I haven't pulled the front fascia off yet but could one plumb a new Naca duct from the front grill to the air box? That would make more sense if the distance and angles aren't extreme. The car weighs 4k+ lbs and needs every bit of that brake cooling far more than 5hp from some little air box mod.

    It's the redirection of cool air to the box that's giving you the power gains from a lower IAT.

    Did you just cut and redirect the stock duct or buy a separate piece?

    Let's just reroute our AC system to the engine air intake. Then we'll have nice cool IATs all the time.
