    Lift point for a jack?

I looked at the owners manual and read that there should be some lift points and marked in the plastic on the bottom of the car. I don't see anything. I'm using a floor jack and i'm sure i'll be able to lift it without destroying the bottom of the car, but it would be nice to find where the factory recommends. Cecil........

The Pontiac G8 had the slots in the lower body panel, but this doesn't.

My Corvette has After-Market specific fitted Lifting Pucks that install on my Floor Jack. Is there such an item for our Cadillac V?

Re: Lift point for a jack?

Two-X-Four I have lots of. However, I will search for something akin to my Corvette Jacking Puck designed to specifically fit the lifting points on the V.
    Thank you, though.

My floor jack cannot make contact with this section and clear the rockers panel.

    I have a 2012 V-wagon.

My 2012 v-wagon does not have the slotted holes as shown, which I find curious. There are some holes there, but nothing slotted like that.

Any thoughts on if it would still be safe to jack from that point, just using a puck? I assume the strength is there, slots or otherwise.

Re: Lift point for a jack?

I've used the front one as shown on yours. But the rear ones I'm not so sure. Go slowly and keep checking to see how much the metal bends. I don't use the pucks. Instead, I use a block of wood.
