How many new Vs do you think will be on hand? Must be quite a few of them... I wonder how many people are booked for each session?
From the invitation, it states that they will be splitting the groups into three to run the three tracks simultaneously. CTS-Vs will only be used on one of the tracks, so I'd guess there will be relatively few of them there (maybe a dozen or so?).

Interestingly, the invitation states that "there are fewer than 75 CTS-Vs available to drive in existence", as the event precedes availability at dealerships.

you are indeed as your own words have stated.

Elitist or not, if you didn't sign up (submit your email to Cadillac) for future info on the CTS-V, you wouldn't have gotten an invite, regardless.

I did. Anything that comes to the V, I sign up for. In a couple years, not a big deal...

I feel for ya BigJim. You should be there as you keep this forum in line. Mabey they will host a few of them. A few phone calls never hurt. They seem pretty nice at CadillacDrivingLabs.
I was thinking of bringing my mount. Then, I noticed it says you can't bring a video cam in the car on the track. What cheap setup could I use to put a lipstick/bullet cam on my person or helmet and run a wire to a battery powered recorder in my pocket. I think anything with a SD card should be good for a few laps.
I never drove Monticello and like to get the first time driving a new track on vid.
Monticello has over 400 ft of elevation changes!!! This is gonna be wild.

Hi all. It has been awhile since I've been on the forum. I received the email from Cadillac and signed up right away for Sat. morning and I am on the wait list for now. I hope I get the chance to go and enjoy this new animal. Sounds like a blast.

Yeah, I'm on the wait list also. Hope they give us sufficient notification time if we are selected.

I am doing great. Yes I do miss the old V and the raw HP it had. It had to be one of the best cars I ever owned, other than the cheap rear end!!

What day and time are you on the list for? I would love to go too if selected, it should be a once in a life time experence.

Re: CTS-V Driving Event at Monticello, NY

Just booked my room for Sat. night. I want to be well rested before the Sunday afternoon event. Here is the hotel I'm at:
    http://www.lodgeatrockhill.com/
$109 for the night. Mention Cadillac Driving Labs. They reserved a block of rooms for us.
I hear we will be able to run the XLR-V on the shorter course.
Leaving the Island Saturday if anyone wants to meet. I'll be in an Explorer so I understand if you don't.
