In a few years, half the fleet is gonna be 50 mpg hybrid/plug-in stuff mixed in with some high hp stuff mixed in with some old stuff (i.e. current stuff). Gasoline may even go down in price unless balanced out by dramatically increased oil consumption in India and China.
On another note, if I ever get the chance to get a new V (20-30% probability), there's gonna be a shit-load of slightly-used mods in the classifieds here as I bring my car back to close to stock.
Oh! I thought this was the "Random Thoughts" thread. :alchi:
I'll wait 'til the 2010 model though...
Yeah, yeah. That's what they all say! Nice to see ya.
Daddy's getting a new car real real soon ;)
A lot of folks are tossing around estimated MSRP prices and what might be options, etc etc.
I think the general consensus is that base MSRP is going to be somewhere around $62k
With that said; has anyone given any thought as to whether the first units of allocation start hitting the dealers early next fall might carry a dealer added premium above MSRP?
Otherwise known as the "Dealer Adjusted Market Value".
According to the pictures in the release, they also changed to a 5 lug wheel -( I assume so we can't use the 19 in wheels on our V's - ) It also mentioned they kept their much beloved "dual mass boat anchor":stirpot: The only good news would appear to be the HP that can be gained by changing the RV cam for a performance cam. That is a positive displacement blower, not a turbo!!
