    Tire sizes for a sedan?

    OEM front size 255/40/19
What if I get 265/40/19 on OEM rims ?
Or what other sizes would work front?
    295/35/19 for back tires?
Would the 295/35/19 make it feel sloppy or make the rear go all over the place?

I have 275/35/19 fronts and 305/30/19 rears and car handles great and hooks up better than the stock sizes.

re: Tire sizes for a sedan?

What would be the difference between 266/49/19 265/40-19 and 275/35-19, looks?
And won't 305 be a lot harder to find in a Michelin or Hankook?
Also it won't rub on back or fronts?
Can you post or msg me some pics on how it looks?
    Thanks

Did you have to do anything to the wheels for these sizes to fit? or did they mount right up? if you can, would like to see some pic's

following up to see if 275/35/19 fronts and 305/30/19 rears is a good upgrade to do on the stock wheels for a sedan.

I would check the tire manufacturer's website, as they'll tell you what rim sizes are suitable for each tire size. Without even looking, I'd bet that the 275/35s are fine on the 9" wide front wheels, but the 305s are way too wide for the 9.5" rear wheels. I don't know if jc09 had his stock wheels widened or used different wheels.
