Stock I believe are 35W. When I bought replacement Sylvania bulbs (H11's), they were 55W. I think they are better in terms of visibility but the stock 35W were perfectly fine.

Doesn't higher wattage mean more heat? I'd be afraid of cooking the housing.

Im most likely going to get led Cree bulbs, they run at about 45-80 W. I doubt it will matter what watts it will be with Leds.

Yes absolutely correct, but the low wattage we're talking about here isn't much more than the typical household lamp bulb. The temperature is hot to the touch but not hot enough to melt anything. The housing seals off the bulb and it doesn't make contact with anything, but there is a point where you wouldn't want to go any higher in wattage but that's why they mainly sell H11 headlight bulbs in the 35W and 55W (and I'm sure a couple steps above those) on the market.

The Cree is a popular choice for many autos, and I too was at one point considering the Cree LEDs but I just got bulbs at the local auto parts store and that was it.

Very, very nice. I like how those look. I had installed an HID kit for my fog lights, but mounting the ballasts was a PITA. They ended up breaking loose from the double-sided tape and just hanging by the wire. One must have been damaged because it doesn't work any more, and when I went to switch the bulbs around to see if it was the bulb or the ballast, they both ended up stopping working. LOL. Cheap eBay kit for $25, I should have been smarter.. replaced with incandescent H11's and trying to warranty the HIDs now. Mine were 6000k and they looked excellent.

Not sure if it's the same setup at the 3.6 coupe but I had these in and they matched perfect and were in for 2+ years. No issues.

    Re: Fog lights

I found bulbs that are 5k temp, and the seller says they are 4000 lumens which I highly doubt highest I've seen are 800-1200 lumens. I want to get in touch with the seller but they won't answer....
