Thinking about change the color on my 2010 CTS V sedan

Looking for some feedback from the community. Scouring the web to see if it's been done but can't find anything. Thinking about repainting my V to something like this. Anyone seen similar or have pics?

Your best bet is to go with a vinyl wrap in whatever color you like. Its cost varies but its durable and reversible than having it painted.

    Thanks iV.

Haven't done much research on that but the guy that tinted my windows suggested the same.

Yellow is not a sport sedan color....especially not a Cadillac.

My opinion on the color: Tacky.

But if you do decide on a repaint, plan on $8K minimum for a single color job.

I would second the opinion on the wrap.

Thanks for all the input. Wrap is definitely the way to go. Yellow seems so rare on the CTS. It works on ZR!, Camaro, Ferrari, BMW, etc

I think the right yellow with black wheels could look amazing.

My thoughts exactly. Something like this with black wheels and blackout on all the chrome.

Wrap is certainly the way to go. We've had a bunch of cars wrapped, and they look great! The color the OP would want to run with is from 3M pt#1080-G15 (Gloss Bright Yellow). If you are local, you can stop by and see some of the wrapped cars we have here. Great way to change up the look of the vehicle without having to spend $10K on a full paint job. Wraps start at $3K installed.

    Thank you,

Thanks Dr. D, I wish I was nearby. d3 mods are what got me to thinking, and 3M gloss bright yellow was the color I've decided to go with and no chrome at all. Question for you as I've not had much luck. I want to remove all CTS, Cadillac and wreath emblems and go with a "V" logo on the trunk and the grill. Does anyone make the logos for this application (looks like it needs to be slightly bent? Pref would be black and yellow on those as well.

SORRY TO THE FORUM FOR THE CONFUSION, I WAS THE OP, BUT FORGOT I HAD ANOTHER NAME WHEN I HAD A CTS3.6. DIDN'T MEAN TO CONFUSE FOLKS BUT THE MODERATION HELPED ME OUT.

Havent seen any V logos that are angled in the way in which you describe. I am taking it that you are looking to replace the Cadillac wreath & crest in the center of the grille and the rear of the trunk with the V logo?

    Thank you,

Pictures upon completion I'm not a yellow fan on 4 doors but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I hope it turns out badass. I've be toying with the idea of a dark dark blue wrap on my 06 stsv just never pulled the trigger. Good luck

And so the project begins: 3M pt#1080-G15 (Gloss Bright Yellow). Thanks Dr. Design from D3 Cadillac. Plasti dip all chrome including all wheels. Remove all Cadillac emblems, wreaths, etc. and modify "V" badges to fit grill and trunk. I'll post some before pics this week.
