How much damage did you do pulling off the original trim, and installing the wood ? Was it worth the hassle, with the possible damage to the door panels ? and other panels ?

I had to replace the front passenger door wood trim (cracked). I followed these directions to a "T" and no door panel damage - even ordered additional fasteners and didn't need them. The first time through the procedure it took me 15 minutes. The second time through took me five minutes. Get the trim removal tools, take your time and you'll be good to go.

    Good luck,
    Eric

Link isn't working for me either.

I'm planning on taking off the piano black trim on the center consul and try to buff out some of the wear marks. Has anyone tried this?

Ordered the tools today from EBay - great thread

I have a how-to on removing the door panels, but not the trim. PM me if that is what you need. That was a great youtube video on the wood trim pieces from Jesse with wait4me, but it is gone forever...
