The only two people to have these pieces done have sacked up and sent their trim in. It sucks going with out it (I know, I'm currently driving my own car around without trim while I make a new set for it) but I think most people can't justify the huge cost of the cores coupled with paying for the carbon fiber as well.

The red center console pieces are coming along nicely and should be done in the next week or so:

Matt, can you get a quick write up on how hard it was to get those pieces off from those that did it? Or at least show me where the tabs are so I don't break any? That would be helpful!

I wish I could, but I haven't done the removal myself. I think this most recent one was done by a shop. I will dig around and see if I can find a write up.

We can pretty much do anything. We're doing a custom set of door pulls right now that are turning out great.

Some pictures of the red center console all polished up. Really happy with how this turned out:

Seeing the big center piece removed leads me to believe someone has removed the radio knobs or otherwise was able to get the center piece off......anyone know how?

When I got it, it had all the controls still attached to it (but it was brand new from GM). If I had to guess, it comes out of the car with all the controls attached as well, and you have to remove the screws on the back of the piece to get everything off.

For the most part, yes. We can do small, custom exterior parts, but we tend to shy away from big things like hoods, valences, etc.

I just got started on another custom center console set.

    More pics and info here:

I see you overlay over the small holes in the console. How do you later cut out the holes without damaging the surround and keeping the opening exact? Also how do you keep the thickness of the veneer from making the buttons recessed after re-installation? Is the single layer cf-cloth overlay thin enough where this isn't an issue?
